National Logistics Awards 2022 (NLA)

We emerged as a silver award winner in Warehousing & Distribution category at the recently held National Logistics Awards 2022. Organised by Sri Lanka Logistics & Freight Forwarders Association (SLFFA), the award ceremony took place at the Main Ballroom of the Shangri-La hotel in Colombo, and the awards recognised Sri Lankan companies in the supply chain management industry with outstanding performance.

National Business Excellence Awards 2021

We were recognised with a merit award in the Logistics & Transportation category at the National Business Excellence Awards 2021 (NBEA). The gala event organised by the National Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka was held at BMICH. The awards recognise organisations in various industries with outstanding performance through the evaluation of a wide range of business aspects.

ISO Quality Management Standard; 9001:2015

We set yet another benchmark in the Sri Lankan Logistics industry by being the first 3rd Party Logistics solutions provider in the country to be certified with the latest ISO quality management standard; ISO 9001:2015. The certification process was conducted by DNV GL, a globally renowned certification body, with over 70,000 certifications conducted around the world. The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Certification drives excellence in processes and systems to deliver unsurpassed customer experience through seven quality management principles; customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidenced based decision-making and relationship management.

ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series

The globally recognized ISO 45001:2018 certification is awarded to organizations that implement and sustain an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system to make improvements by eliminating risks and taking advantage of opportunities associated with OH&S as well as resolving activities that are nonconforming with the system. Recognizing the commitment of JKLL for OH&S, it was previously certified with OHSAS 18001:2007 (since March 2011). By taking OH&S practices even further, JKLL has been able to upgrade to ISO 45001:2018, obtained through the global Swiss-based certification service provider SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA.
